# Bordy

> Bordy is a free live flight tracker and digital boarding pass for iPhone. It reads flight data from FlightAware's AeroAPI, re-checks an active flight every two minutes, and sends push notifications for gate changes, delays, boarding and landing. Every flight is shown as a boarding-pass card; every completed flight is added to a world map with full travel statistics.

## What it does

- **Live flight status** — gate, terminal, seat, boarding time, altitude, ground speed, delays, cancellations, diversions, codeshares, baggage belt. Sourced from FlightAware AeroAPI, re-checked every two minutes while the flight is active.
- **Push notifications** — gate change, delay with old and new time, boarding, departure, landing. Works for any flight added by number, including flights you are not on: track a relative's flight and know when to leave to meet them.
- **Boarding-pass cards** — each flight renders as a ticket with perforation and stub, colour-coded amber (departs soon), green (in the air) or red (delayed or cancelled). It is a tracker, not a scannable pass; the airline's own pass is still what scans at the gate.
- **Adding flights** — three ways: by flight number, by route and date from the schedule, or by hand. Manual entry accepts past flights, so a whole travel history can be backfilled. Optional calendar sync on the way in.
- **Flight map and statistics** — every landed flight draws an arc on a world map. Totals kept: distance flown, hours in the air, countries, airports, airlines, aircraft types, flights logged.
- **Share cards** — flight and yearly stats laid over your own photo or video, or over ready-made backgrounds, for Instagram Stories or Telegram.
- **Themes** — Light, Autumn and Night colour palettes, plus alternate backgrounds.
- **Automatic import from e-mail** — connect Gmail over OAuth or any mailbox over IMAP; Bordy reads booking confirmations and offers the flights it finds for confirmation before adding them.

## Pricing

- **Free** — unlimited flights and unlimited history, live status, gate-change and delay notifications, calendar sync, the mini map on your profile, share cards. No monthly cap, no expiring history, no ads.
- **Pro** — €44.99 per year (about €3.75 a month) with a three-day free trial, €1.99 per week, or €300 once for lifetime. Adds gate, seat, terminal and boarding time on the card itself, aircraft registration, serial number, operator and photo, the full world map and airport list, and all themes and story templates.

## Not in the app

Stated plainly so nothing here is misread as a feature: there is no Live Activity on the Lock Screen, no Apple Watch app, no delay prediction, no Android version, and no leaderboard or global ranking. App-icon customisation is not finished. Email import reads booking confirmations only — it does not parse PDF attachments or boarding passes.
